"ESPECIALLY FOR YOU" RACE AGAINST BREAST CANCER

The 20th “Especially For You” Race Against Breast Cancer will be held Sunday, October 10, 2010. On that day, more than 11,000 women, men and children of all ages will pay tribute to the courage of Sandy Knight.  Sandy died from breast cancer in July 1991, but inspired others to make early detection of breast cancer a reality for every individual regardless of ability to pay.

Sandy grew up in Fairfax and to show our support to her family and this very worthwhile cause, FAIRFAX STATE SAVINGS BANK, encourages you to participate as a member of our team. Team captains for 2010 are:  Kristine Norem, Brandy Zimmerman, Cathy Stober and Teran Pegump.  This year’s race includes a 5K Run, 5K Walk, and a 1-Mile Walk.  The registration fee prior to September 3rd is $20.00 while the youth (15 & under) registration fee is $15.00.  FAIRFAX STATE SAVINGS BANK will pay for ONE-HALF of your registration fee if you join our team.

Our registration sign-up program begins Wednesday, August 4th through Friday, September 3rd Packet pick-up will be held Friday, October 8th, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM and Saturday, October 9th, 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM in the bank lobby.  Please return a completed registration form and your portion of the registration fee to a team captain no later than Friday, September 3rd .
