Fairfax State Savings Bank 24-hour Telebanking lets you access account information and create transactions right from your home or office - or anywhere there is a phone!
In the time it takes to call a friend, you can check savings, certificates of deposit, loans and checking account balances. You can also find out whether or not specific checks have cleared the bank, make loan payments, get the latest information on rates, transfer funds from one account to another - even get the current time and expanded weather. And, best of all, there is no charge for this convenient service! Remember - any transactions made after 2:00 pm will be posted the following business day.
Forgot your Personal Identification Number? Just give us a call during business hours at 846-2300 and we can reset this number in a matter of minutes.
Order Checks
Reordering your checks just became easier! If you currently order your checks from Deluxe through Fairfax State Savings Bank, you can now place your reorder conveniently online. This service is available provided there are no changes made to your personal information. Please call the bank if you need to make any changes to your personal information (name or address).

Haven't ordered checks through the bank recently? Concerned about the cost? We now have available a new specialty check. These quality checks are reasonably priced at $13.00 for wallet (200 checks) and $16.00 for duplicates (150 checks) - this price includes shipping. Call 319-846-2300 and we will gladly assist you.
Safe Deposit Boxes
Keep your important documents and valuable information secure in our Safe Deposit Boxes. For as little as $25 per year (7cents per day), you can have peace of mind knowing that precious family and business possessions are protected from fire, theft and natural disasters.
For your convenience, Fairfax State Savings Bank offers three sizes of safe deposit boxes to meet your needs:

Medium - 3" X 10" $40.00 per year
Large - 6" X 10" $60.00 per year

Iowa Veterans Commemorative Medallion
The State of Iowa has commissioned these one of a kind medallions to honor our veterans. They feature our state capital on one side and the famous Sullivan brothers from Waterloo on the other side. Visa TravelMoney Card
The Visa TravelMoney card is a prepaid card that can be used anywhere a Visa debit card is accepted, as well as withdrawing cash at Visa/Plus ATMs. Once the withdrawal or purchase is made the amount is automatically deducted from the card. At any time you are able to add funds to the card. There is an $8.00 fee for purchasing a Visa TravelMoney card. You may check your balance online, coming into the bank or calling us. Keeping track of your balance is a smart way to know how much is left on your card.

How Do I Get My Deposits to the Bank?
Drive Up
During banking hours, use our accessible drive-up facilities and never leave the comfort of your car. Be sure to ask for a treat for your human passengers or a dog biscuit for your canine passengers!
24-Hour Depository
For the safety and convenience of our customers, a lighted 24-hour depository is located on the north side of the building through the drive up lane. There is also a night depository at the Kiosk off Hwy 151 across from the Casey’s General Store. Envelopes are provided for your use. For merchants making deposits, visit a bank representative to obtain locked bags and/or a depository key.
Direct Deposit
For security and convenience, we accept Direct Deposit of your Social Security, VA benefits, pension benefits or paychecks! There is no need to rush to the bank to make your deposit or worry about lost or stolen checks. With Direct Deposit, you know your money is safely in your account! We will be happy to instruct you on how to get this set up.
