About Fairfax State Savings Bank
Service, Relationships and Sincere Friendliness
In Iowa, neighbors help neighbors and that’s the way Fairfax State Savings Bank works. It’s just the neighborly thing to do for a bank that’s right here. A lot of things have stayed the same about us since we were first chartered in 1924.
At Fairfax State Savings Bank, we pride ourselves in having accessible staff, including our bank President, David C. Neuhaus and Executive Vice President, Patrick Slater. Read a welcome message from David and Patrick that symbolizes everything we’re about at Fairfax State Savings BankRead Welcome
Officers and Staff
Our biggest asset at Fairfax State Savings Bank is our people. From our frontline staff to loan officers and executives, the team at Fairfax State Savings Bank is ready to help you succeed!Meet the Team
As a true “community bank,” Fairfax State Savings Bank works throughout the community to help residents and businesses, and to make it a better place to live and work.
We’ve never moved from our original location on Vanderbilt Street in Fairfax. We’ve stayed independent, even during a time of mergers and acquisitions. And, we have never stopped believing in the right way of doing business: strong relationships, a pride in local growth, welcoming hospitality and sincere friendliness.
There have been changes along the way: a new bank building in 1964 and a renovation in 1998. We have also added new services like Online Banking, Mobile Banking and Merchant Services for local business owners. These changes have been centered around serving our customers better.
